These Alpaca Trail Crew Socks are my first pair of alpaca socks, & I’m definitely impressed. They are comfortable, warm, & feel better than amazing for everyday wear. They have a nice cushioned feel, & they do a great job keeping my feet warm when I’m outside. I especially like them for hiking, camping, & working around the property. They fit well in my boots & stay up without constantly sliding down. They are so comfy that I’ll definitely be getting more pairs for sure. Overall, these are a great pair of socks for anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors.

A few years ago I bought my first alpaca socks in Peru. It is great to find this source closer to home. They are extremely soft and comfortable. They wrap your feet in a luxurious bed. They feel like you need to curl up by the fire and enjoy a some hot chocolate. If you are deciding to be more proactive with your socks the work really well with hiking boots. Providing a nice cushion for a long day. These may become my Christmas gift for the whole family this year.
I'm a sucker for a comfy pair of socks so of course I had to grab these! They do not disappoint. The socks are soft, comfortable and my feet didn't sweat. I wouldn't consider these socks warm, but they do a great job of keeping my feet at a comfortable temperature. I feel like the price is a little on the steep side. These socks do have arch support but they're so stretchy that I don't feel it as much as i would like. The material feels soft and stretchy and is not scratchy. These socks are medium thickness. I wear a size 8 1/2 shoe and these socks fit perfectly. I do really like these and would definitely recommend.

The overall quality is solid and they are comfortable.While the current price of $22.99 is high for a pair of socks, I feel like it’s a fair price for good alpaca hiking socks.
This pair is thick and warm and feels great against the skin. I've never had alpaca wool anything before, so I wanted to see what the fuss was about. It's unbelievably soft, so I want more of this, not just socks. Despite the warmth, they didn't feel icky or sweaty after prolonged wear. They wash as normal, doesn't seem to need any special care. They have a premium price, but I think you'd still get more than what you paid for.
Alpaca wool is the best wool I've found. It benefits from blending with other fabrics for durability. These socks are on par with the best. They fit my size 11 feet like they were made for them. The wool provides odor control, breathability, and best of all warmth. The only downside is the price for alpaca, especially baby alpaca wool products. Your feet are worth the extra price.

I can’t speak for the value of this product I don’t think because I think they are a little bit salty. However, alpaca is a very high-quality material. These socks are super comfortable and fit perfectly with the sizing for me. They’re obviously very versatile for hiking and cold weather. They are very, very high-quality socks in my opinion and incredibly soft. I really have nothing to say bad about them other than as I said, I question the value a boy are they nice!
I debated about these socks but decided to go for it. So glad I did! Often wool socks are too thick for my liking and make my walking shoes or hiking shoes feel too tight, or even make my heel slip because of the bulky socks. If I choose the thin ones they aren't warm enough when the temperatures drop. I think these socks are just perfect! They are thick enough to be cushy but not overly bulky. The soles are thicker than the tops and I like that too. The socks are SO soft and comfortable. They are somewhat temperature regulating but I do find them warm on a hot day. But I got these for hiking mostly and they'll be perfect. We are going on an Alaskan cruise and then a week later to camp and hike at the Oregon Coast and Columbia River Gorge while visiting our kids in Oregon. These will be ideal. So far I just tried these for a short hike in my area, but my feet stayed so content! I have nerve pain and these actually helped me stay more comfortable. I am super sensitive to things like toe seams, but no worries here, I don't feel any kind of seam or bumps in these socks.Oh, and I need to mention the top of the socks, tight sock cuffs not only bother me but start causing me pain. These were described as having a "comfort cuff", and YES, they do! These somehow stay where I want them, but do not constrict or feel tight at all.I got the medium, I'm female and wear a size 8. These fit well, but not snug, so they would work for someone with a larger foot as well. I do think that if you had a foot smaller than maybe a size 7 women's these could be too large for you. I had intended to wash them on cold and air dry, but I accidentally threw them in the dryer - on low thankfully - but they did not shrink, whew! But I will take care in the future, I don't want to ruin my lovely socks.These are a fantastic sock, the quality is excellent. Recommend. Even at this price - worth it.

Pricey, but worth it for this purchase. Surely, there be a better percentages of baby alpaca wool that you get, or better mixed materials socks out there. Hareloom is a decent socks. Large size fits me well, on a size 9. Cool to the touch, and doesn't heat up. Thick socks, and holds frame.
These socks are very fluffy; thicker than the ones I usually wear. They have warmth for late fall and winter.I The workmanship of these socks is smooth, without lumps where the fabric transitions from the toes to the main tube of the socks. The top of the socks have a tighter knitting, they stay up without compressing the ankle. These are likely the finest socks that I have
These sock are the bomb! Made with alpaca wool, they are super duper soft! Alpaca is not known for its ability to hold its shape, so the added nylon is mandatory. I love the ribbing around the foot too. These socks stay in place! They dont stretch when you put your boots on. They reach up to my calves to keep my legs warm too. These will be my favorite socks this winter. Just a personal note: I probably wont put them in the dryer. I knit socks and the dryer generally ruins socks over time.
Friends, these are some good socks. Putting them on, I found them to be firmly snug, but not too tight. And, oh, are they soft. Very cushy feel as I wore them.The color is standard black, so no problems there. They are going to feel great in the winter, whether with boots or sneakers. You can tell by handling (and wearing!) these that the quality is outstanding -- thick and well-made.I'm glad I got these socks. As to value for the money, that will depend on your situation in life. If you are looking for a really solid pair of socks because you need something just right for hiking -- well, these will fit your bill. If you are looking for something comfortable to wear around, you might feel that the cost is not commensurate with the product, as comfortable as it is. For myself, I'd buy the pair for the former category, but not the latter.

I have to start out by saying that the idea of spending over $20 for one pair of socks is outrageous to me. That is so far out of my financial comfort zone I couldn't even imagine considering it! THEN I tried these socks through the Amazon Vine program!! I thought I had comfortable socks but had absolutely no idea what I've been missing!These socks are the most comfortable thing I have ever worn. They are super soft and will definitely keep my feet warm this winter. I don't know how they do it, but these socks are snug without being tight. They stay pulled up and don't slide down and bunch up under my heel or foot. The truly great feeling part of these socks for me is the slight compression band around the center of my foot. I have issues with swelling in my feet and ankles and that compression band over the top of my foot helps alleviate that a lot!These socks are also very breathable, much better than any others I've ever tried! Instead of my feet and socks being disgusting by the end of the day, the socks are dry and my feet don't stink! It's nothing short of a miracle!!!I would never have thought I would be willing to pay as much for a pair of socks as this, but I will be buying several more pairs and getting rid of all my others without hesitation! These will quite probably even replace my slippers!! LOL!!!

They’re really soft and warm. Kind of on the smaller end in size. I’m a size 8 and they fit well. A larger man probably wouldn’t fit well in these socks. They’re high quality socks and it’s different that they’re made with alpaca wool
These are pretty nice, comfortable, medium weight and thickness. They are very warm and the fit is good. They are 41% baby alpaca, the remainder a combination of acrylic, nylon and spandex. I do think these are a bit pricey.As a comparison, I purchased some heavier weight ones that were in a set of 3, costing about $21 a pair from Amazon, and they were a higher percentage of alpaca and then 22% merino and only a little spandex. The heavier ones from the set do pill. They are thicker so there could be a fit problem depending on your footwear. These don't appear to pill and they are thinner, but still a mid-weight cushion area.For this price I will only purchase these for trips where I'm trekking around out in the cold and rough areas. I would consider them for more regular use during colder seasons if it weren't for the price.
